All over the West, from France to Italy, the U.K as well as the U.S.A. it is clear the Politicians are in a rush to recognise the rebels as the legitimate Government of Libya, but the African Union do not.

Why?

Is it because the African Union are wrong or maybe they support Qaddafi and they are not to be trusted while the Western Politicians are right, and should be trusted because they would never try to deceive their people and install another dictator who will do as they are told?

Because Gaddafi was the main sponsor of the African Union. He spent 400 million dollars just in African communication system. You know at first he wanted a pan-arabism like his idol Nasser. BUt when he realized it doesn’t work he tried a new pan-africanism and he did until today.
