Greece Politics / Current Events

greece politics / existing activities question by Terrier (Uk): Are the tories closer to labour than they are to their coalition partners?
On trident – 100% agreement – each parties say we must keep on to fund obsolete weapons.
On tax cuts for the lowest earners – the two events say we can’t afford it.
On tax cuts for the highest earners – each events say we can *very easily* afford it, but the question is no matter whether to lower from 50p to 45p(coalition) or 40p(labour alone)?

On the Residence of Lords Reform:

Would our coalition be be far more steady if it was a “Grand Coalition” of the 2 greatest parties?
ETA: When I say, “both events” I indicate tory & labour. Hope that clarifies.
@David H & Lin Cheung:

You both make very valid factors. While it is undoubtedly accurate that whoever will get into power, they will enter into a scenario exactly where the key firms & the banking institutions wield most of the electrical power, it is what these events do with the scenario they locate themselves in the place there are variations.

The more electrical power the banks & significant corporations have vs our elected politicians, the much less big difference there will be.
@David H & Lin Cheung:

You each make really legitimate factors. Whilst it’s undoubtedly genuine that whoever gets into electrical power, they will enter into a predicament exactly where the main corporations & the banking institutions wield most of the power, it is what these parties do with the circumstance they uncover themselves in where there are differences.

The far more electrical power the banking institutions & major businesses have vs our elected politicians, the significantly less distinction there will be.
@Mac. I openly acknowledge that I occasionally make problems (who doesn’t?), but there is no lack of honesty here.

I presume you have no concern with my point that both tory & labour desired to renew trident (even even though our senior military commanders have mentioned it really is a waste of funds). I assume that you have no concern with labour’s decision to side with the tories in excess of Residence of Lords reform. I assume you agree that both labour and tory claimed to be unable to afford to increase the revenue tax threshold.

Strictly speaking – I suppose you are appropriate. Labour do not want to reduce the Additional Charge to 40p. They want to scrap the additional rate altogether. So rather than have the greater charge & the added rate the exact same, just scrap the added fee. The finish result is *precisely* the same – that these at present having to pay the 50p tax price would have to shell out 40p on these earnings underneath a labour government. It is a bad decision I grant you, but I fail to see how putting a red ribbon on
@Mac. I openly acknowledge that I sometimes make errors (who doesn’t?), but there is no lack of honesty right here.

I presume you have no issue with my point that both tory & labour desired to renew trident (even although our senior military commanders have stated it really is a waste of income). I presume that you have no issue with labour’s selection to side with the tories in excess of Residence of Lords reform. I presume you agree that each labour and tory claimed to be unable to afford to raise the earnings tax threshold.

Strictly speaking – I suppose you happen to be correct. Labour don’t want to reduce the Extra Charge to 40p. They want to scrap the extra rate altogether. So rather than have the greater rate & the additional fee the very same, just scrap the additional rate. The end result is *precisely* the exact same – that those at the moment paying out the 50p tax charge would have to spend 40p on these earnings below a labour government. It is a poor choice I grant you, but I fail to see how putting a red ribbon on

Exactly where any individual in the Uk gets the thought….one particular political governing get together is ‘better/different’ than yet another is beyond me….they all ‘pursue’ identical policies ‘disguised’ in wording to be different.!!

These ‘temporary’ occupiers of No:ten Downing Street are themselves governed/controlled by these unseen (non voted for) political establishment Mandarins and Bankers. The governing politicians will come and go (every 4-5yrs) these (non voted for) political establishment Mandarins/Bankers continue to be forever – ‘they’ currently being the ‘true energy houses’ and choice makers in the United kingdom.

It will not make ‘any difference’ no matter what sort of coalition governs the Uk or what ever polices are adopted – there is ‘no political saviour’ out there than can ‘save’ the Uk finances/unemployment….its just a ‘pipe dream’ for people that ‘think’ the Uk can/will be saved.

What we have nowadays in the Uk – will final for ‘generations’ also come – and the negative news is that circumstance will worsen as the many years go by.

The ‘only’ certain factor is…’the wealthy will get richer and the poor will get poorer’ – that is definitely guaranteed.!!
